deja's story
Deja Davis has built her career through perseverance and steady progression. After captaining La Salle University, she took an unconventional route for an American player, beginning her professional career in France and spending nearly a decade climbing through the country's football pyramid. Her journey reflects the value of patience, adaptability, and embracing opportunities wherever they arise.
Davis signed with Le Havre in 2017 and became a key figure during one of the club's most successful periods, helping earn promotion from France's third division to the second, winning the Division 2 title to reach the top flight, and later helping the club return to Division 1 after relegation. She continued her career with Paris FC, where she competed in the UEFA Women's Champions League and helped capture the 2025 French Women's Cup before joining Boston Legacy FC.
Raised in Sicklerville, New Jersey, Davis forged her own path to the professional game, proving that success is not limited to traditional routes. Her career reflects resilience, consistency, and a willingness to grow through every challenge.
