Brittney Yvette Griner (; born October 18, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for the Connecticut Sun of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and for the Vinyl of Unrivaled. She is a three-time Olympic gold medalist with the U.S.
women's national basketball team and a six-time WNBA All-Star. Griner was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2023.
In 2009, Griner was named the nation's No. 1 high school women's basketball player by Rivals.com.
